Fortnite brings back Tilted Towers in this month’s Season OG

Today marks the beginning of Fortnite’s new season but instead of Chapter 4 Season 5, Epic Games has shaken things up by launching what it calls Season OG.

As suspected based on leaks, the newest season is designed to be one big throwback to Fortnite’s very first chapter, with a specific focus on the seasons that ran through 2018 and 2019.

The plan is that weekly updates will introduce weapons, vehicles, and locations from one of Fortnite’s older seasons, starting with the original Season 5 from 2018, introduces fan favourite locale Tilted Towers.

An update on November 9 next week will follow things up with content from the Halloween themed Season 6, including the Loot Lake locale. The November 16 update will be a two-fer covering the Christmas themed Season 7 and the pirate themed Season 8.

Then things wrap up on November 23 with an update based on Seasons 9 and 10. Epic Games is being a bit coy with what this one will bring, focusing only on the returning weapons and items like the jetpack.

Considering the original Season 10 ended with the map being destroyed to lead into Chapter 2 Season 1, perhaps Epic Games intends on recreating the event and kicking off Chapter 5 in a similar way.

If you want more of a rundown of what’s included in the season, you can find more info over on the official Fortnite website.
